A NEW street football competition has been launched to sharpen players’ skills.
Middlesbrough FC has teamed up with youngsters in the town’s Thorntree Park to give them the chance to pull on a Boro strip and show off their talents in a variety of challenges.
The youngsters, aged between 11 and 18 of both sexes, were attempting to shoot a ball through a car door and chip the ball into a bin.
The club’s FA-qualified coaches will hold free weekly training sessions, matches and street football.
