A FALKLANDS War veteran is appealing for the return of a wheelchair believed stolen from outside his home.
The 48-year-old, from Guisborough, East Cleveland, was medically retired from the Armed Services and suffers back pain.
“On Wednesday, he had used his wheelchair and left it in the backyard of his house in Northgate and forgot to take it in for the evening,” a Cleveland Police spokeswoman said. “When he awoke the next day he went to get it but it had been stolen.
“While the chair is not of great value financially, it is essential for him to get around.
