So, here we go again with a rant against Virgin Mobile who are my Blackberry "supplier". Sadly, they are also our phone provider, internet provider, and digital television provider.
I emailed them yet AGAIN to tell them my Blackberry account still isn't online despite it being over two months now since I got the phone and since they were called and given all the info.
They sent an email back and I read it before my second cup of caffeine, which was a HUGE error on my part.
They also sent me a customer satisfaction survey which I'll get back to.
The email informed me that they were "sure by now" the account was set up and for me to "check when I have time". I have nothing BUT time (and dwindling patience). The account is NOT set up except to say "Hello John". (long story there...) They also cheerfully informed me that "any help or information I need can be found in my account...online". What part of "it isn't there" don't you quite understand?
I then decided to address their little customer satisfaction survey. I thought I was very clever and gave them all "0" ratings on everything, complete with long explanations.
Got to the end and clicked to submit and got an ERROR message saying the link was either out of date, or blah, blah, blah.
They honestly didn't really want my feedback now did they? Oh, and the best part I saved for last. I had told them I never have the phone on because I can't see the account online, etc.
They informed me that they "tried to call on your mobile but it wasn't switched on". HELLO??????? To call them costs me 10p (16 cents US) on my Blackberry, OR a whole lot more if I call on their "not free" number from the landline. How do these companies over here get away with this??
At this point, I truly give up. You've got me Virgin Mobile, I surrender, you win!
