Pop go the Movies is a superb high energy musical performance based on blockbuster hits from the stage and screen.

Performances will be taken from We Will Rock You, Grease, Saturday Night Fever, Dream Girls, Mamma Mia, Slumdog Millionaire, High School Musical, Chicago and Flashdance.

These will be followed by a massive selection of hit songs by Girls Aloud, Take That, Amy Winehouse, Westlife, Kylie, Robbie Williams and many more.

The event is being held on Tuesday 1st February 2011 at Dormans Club, Oxford Road, Middlesbrough from 7.30pm.

Santa Run Sadly due to the weather Teesside Hospice’s Santa Run has been postponed until Sunday 6th March 2011.

The Santa Run will be taking place at Centre Square, Middlesbrough from 11.30am. The 3k run is open to anyone 11 years or over. To enter the run a £10 registration fee is required which entitles you to a Santa Suit, mince pie and hot drink.
