THOUSANDS of people attended the 99th annual Osmotherley Show on Saturday.
The show, on land at Home Farm, in Thimbleby, North Yorkshire, attracted a good turnout of horses, cattle and sheep.
Visitors had the chance to watch sheep shearing demonstrations and sheep dog trials. There was also a parade by the Bilsdale Foxhounds, led by joint master, Harry Stephenson, and a display of vintage machinery.
Show secretary Susie Pattison said it had been a hugely successful event.
"It has been a really good day and the turnout was excellent," she said. "The weather stayed fair, so that was a big help.
"The horse entries were definitely up, but we need people to support the tent entries a bit more in the future."
