(14) St Mary’s church was extensively restored in 1868, but what was the cost? £270 - £397 or £540.

On question (14) ** I answered the highest amount because I thought it had cost much more than they had said. On doing my own research I’ve discovered the actual cost of the restoration was £1,164 5s 1d.

Anyway, I thoroughly enjoyed my time on the radio, even if you needed to be a mastermind contestant to answer the last 5 questions and it helps to put Cockfield on the map!
