SIR John Hall is to carry out the official opening of the region's newest football stadium tomorrow.
The former Newcastle United chairman and North-East entrepreneur will perform the opening ceremony at Bishop Auckland Football Club's Heritage Park.
The invitation-only event will showcase the brand new stadium and will involve 250 schoolchildren from the town.
Club chairman, Terry Jackson said: “This truly is a watershed day in the history of Bishop Auckland Football Club.
