As you may have heard, Cockfield is being featured on Real Radio’s ‘village of the week’ and on Tuesday, Gary Philipson and Lisa Shaw, - the breakfast show presenters - paid us a visit.
They were very complimentary about the village and said how they had met some wonderful people while they were here. As you can see from the photo they had a chat with Judith in the Co-Op and then went on a walk-about interviewing people as the went.
I must admit I’m enjoying chatting with them on a morning, although 6.45am is an ungodly hour to talk and TRY to be interesting about Cockfield. I’m having to get up at 6.00am just to get the vocal cords working; how they do it every day, I don’t know.
Anyway, for those who have missed it, I’ll do an update on Saturday with the questions they’ve asked me. So far I’ve only got two correct out of five BUT, two of them I got wrong were about the church and I’ve only ever been there twice; the first time they nearly drowned me and the second time was to get my ball back!!
