A MOTORCYCLIST has died after he collided with a dry stone wall after a mishandled right hand turn.
The 38-year-old man, who has not been named by police, was riding with five others yesterday on the B6479 Settle to Hawes road when he collided with the wall at about 6.15pm.
He was taken to Airedale Hospital where he subsequently died of his injuries.
The man, who has not been named by police, is from the Bentham area of North Yorkshire.
He was riding a multi-coloured Ducati motorcycle and police are asking for any witnesses who may have seen the collision or the riding before hand to come forward.
