A 45-year-old man arrested in connection with the discovery of a woman's body has tonight been released by police.
Officers were called to an address in Sunstar Grove, Marton, Middlesbrough in the early hours of this morning following a call to emergency services.
Cleveland Police said that a post mortem examination had proved inconclusive and that further tests would now be carried out to determine the cause of death.
It is believed the woman, who is in her later 40s or early 50s, had worked as a doctor.
A Cleveland Police spokeswoman said: "The cause of death is unknown and police are investigating the circumstances surrounding her death."
