WHY don’t those in charge of our game take a page out of American football?
They have a big clock at the end of the stadium – if there is a stoppage the umpire signals to stop the clock; then starts it again when the stoppage has been dealt with, and when the clock reaches end of game time the match is over.
At least it would stop Fergie moaning. Mind it usually takes them over three hours to play an hour’s game.
