CORRINA JAMES runs her business with her husband, and got the idea for creating Wemmi wipes – a wipe which expands from the size of a pound coin into a 230mm x 250mm biodegradable, chemical- free product – when they were travelling.
The Wemmi expands once it becomes wet, and while the concept is not exclusive to Mrs James, she has developed it into a new and much smaller product than previous designs.
The fledgling business has so far targeted the outdoor and hospitality markets, but sees the possibilities for the product as being massive.
Mrs James said: “We are looking to build on the success we have already had and will concentrate on maximising sales.
“Over the coming months, we are looking to increase our exposure and to form a dedicated sales team to help us target new markets.
“There are so many markets on our radar, and the possibilities for Wemmi are huge.”
