JESSICA Robinson's hopes of landing the lead role in The Wizard Of Oz ended today when she was voted off the BBC One reality show Over The Rainbow.
The 18-year-old from Middlesbrough, who was the second contestant to lose out in this weekend's double elimination, said competing had been the best experience of her life.
She said: "This has changed my life, it's changed my life as a performer and as a person, I'm stronger than ever. I've loved it, and these girls... well I cant wait to go and see one of them on stage."
She was forced into a sing-off with Danielle Hope after the pair received the fewest public votes.
The pair sang Take That Look Off Your Face from Tell Me On A Sunday in a bid to stay in the contest.
Andrew Lloyd Webber eventually decided to save Danielle, but said: "I say this with the heaviest heart in the entire world, Jessica you are so wonderful and quirky, you're a real star in the making."
Jenny Douglas, 18, from Edinburgh, was eliminated from the show last night.
Four contestants are left to fight it out in next weeks semi-final in a bid to win the role of Dorothy in the new West End production of Wizard Of Oz.
