THE eight-year-old boy hit in a car allegedly driven by teenagers 'joyriding' has died.
Daniel Lee Conroy Curtin's mother, Clare, released pictures of her son on a ventilator to show the consequences of so-called joyriding.
The brave little boy fought against the odds for his life but died on last night from his serious head injuries.
Daniel Lee Conroy Curtin was knocked down on a cycle path. Teenagers who were in the Rover Metro are accused of stealing the car.
Daniel was hit on a cycle path in Riverside Park, the Newport area of Middlesbrough, last Tuesday evening. He was taken to The James Cook University Hospital and given intensive care.
