PROUD parents Michelle and Lovepreet Chahal heard the patter of not-so-tiny feet when their bouncing baby boy was born.
Baby Aarron weighed in at a 13lb 7.5oz when he arrived ten days late. And, at 25in, the tot is too big for his new baby clothes and is already wearing outfits for youngsters aged six to nine months.
Aarron was delivered by emergency caesearian section, but mother and baby are doing fine.
Mother-of-three Michelle said Aarron was overdue, so she had to go into Sunderland Royal Hospital to be induced, and staff broke her waters at 1pm on Friday.
The 32-year-old said: "The baby became stuck, and I had to be rushed down to theatre for an emergency section and he was born at 11pm on Friday.
"The paediatricians were all amazed when they saw the size of him, and I just couldn't believe my eyes.
"veryone in the hospital was calling him the big bruiser."
Michelle said that everyone who comes to visit is amazed at how big he is.
The infant is now settling into his new home at Sea Road with his mother, father and two older brothers, Jordan, 13, and 11-year-old Daulton, who are both making a big fuss of him.
Michelle said her other sons were big babies at 9lb 2oz and 9lb 6oz when they were born - but nothing compared with the size of Aarron.
She said: "Throughout the pregnancy, I did put on loads of weight and people thought I was carrying twins or triplets, but it's not surprising I looked so big.
"But now I have him home he doesn't seem so big."
