STUDENTS with designs on careers in the entertainment industry will show off their work at an exhibition next month.
Costumes, sets and props for the worlds of film, TV, theatre and heritage feature in the show by degree students at Cleveland College of Art and Design, in Hartlepool.
Themes range from macabre novels and fantasy civilisations to accurate period items, carnival costumes and set models for computer games.
Lecturer Gayle Evans said: "Our costume students have again produced exceptional, high quality and creative work. Students are already heading to the RSC in Stratford, Angels the Costumiers, in London, West Yorkshire Playhouse, Leeds, and Foy's workshops, in London."
The students' exhibition, at the college in Church Square, will be opening to the public on June 8, from 10am to 7pm; June 9 and 10, from 10am to 4pm; June 12 and 13, from 10am to 8pm, and June 14, from 10am to 5pm.
