THE line-up for this year's Barnard Castle Rhythm and Blues Festival has been announced.
Up to 2,000 people are expected at the event, on Sunday.
The biggest name to appear will be Otis Grand, who will close the festival in the evening.
In his 25-year career, he has opened concerts for the likes of John Lee Hooker and BB King.
Festival organiser Mike Walton said: "I don't suppose many people in Barnard Castle have heard of some of the bands, but we've had people from as far away as Ilkley asking about Otis Grand."
Teesdale band The Blue 42s, who start the festival at 12.30pm, recently played in Liverpool's famous Cavern Club.
The Jimmy Nellis Band will follow The Blue 42s at 1.15pm.
Jimmy Nellis has supported the Eurythmics as well as working with Dave Stewart and members of Procul Harum.
Jeff Chapman's Roosters will follow at 2.30pm, before Trafficker take the stage.
Mr Walton said: "It's great to have a mix of local talent with some bigger names.
"It gives local people the chance to play to a big audience."
The festival will be held on the Demesnes, opposite the Bowes Museum.
There will also be a bar, barbecue, raffle and children's entertainment.
Parking can be found within walking distance of the Demesnes.
