A children's centre will open its doors in Saltburn next month.
The £1.5m development, on the Huntcliff School site, will be home to the town's Sure Start programme, a private day care nursery and will see the relocation of Langbaurgh Primary Care Trust's clinics and consultation.
Plans to build two schools at the Huncliff site were approved by Redcar and Cleveland councillors last week, which will see the creation of Huntcliff Secondary School and a new Saltburn Primary School.
The plan will create Saltburn Learning Campus by 2008 - bringing together both new schools and the children's centre. The centre's administration office will be open from June 5.
