CHILDREN at a Darlington dance school have enjoyed success in their dance exams.

Pupils at the Pam Tallentire Studio of Dance, in Branksome Community Centre, entered the International Dance Teachers Association's examinations.

Several pupils were highly commended for and some pupils in the Freestyle category received honours grading for a mark of higher than 95 per cent.

RESULTS Junior Freestyle One Dance Awards: Commended - Chloe Hayman and Chloe Richmond; Highly commended - Franki Cosgrove, Shawny Henderson, Olivia Summers and Abigail Leach.

Bronze Awards: Commended - Charlotte Moss; Honours - Katie McDonald. Silver Awards: Commended - Alice Fisher and Gemma Marr; Highly commended - Mariah Bradley, Gemma Choppin, Bethany Evans, Courtney Greaves, Rebecca MacCormack, Hannah Randall, Rebecca Richmond and Megan Slaughter; Honours - Amanda Atkinson, Emily Cooper and Haidee O' Connor.

1st Gold Bar Awards: Highly commended - Rachel Lockett, Chloe Pratt and Alice Reed; Honours - Amy Barton, Brandon Holloway and Tara Potter. 2nd Gold Bar Awards: Commended - Kelly McKie and Stella McSherry; Highly commended - Hannah Alderson and Rebecca Skipper; Honours - Ellie Barton and Sophie Jane Vayro. 3rd Gold Bar Awards: Highly Commended- Emma Burt and Holly Ferguson; Honours - Sian Clement - Honours. Star 4 Awards: Highly commended - Katie Nelson.

Junior Social Dance 2 Awards: Pass - Kate Herring, Lucy Herring, Sophie Herring, Francesca Lynch, Charlotte Moss, Haidee O' Connor, Catherine Jane Parnaby and Catherine Jane Ward.

Adult Social Dance 2 Awards: Pass - Emma Ward. Dance 4 Awards: Pass - Anthony Hall - Pass.

Adult Latin American 1st Gold Bar Awards: Highly commended - Christine Gregory.
