TWO Darlington schools are forging links across the globe as part of an education scheme.
North Road and Firthmoor primary schools are entertaining teachers and parents from France, Spain, Martinique and Estonia this week.
Their visit is part of the Comenius project, a three-year initiative designed to give pupils and staff an insight into other cultures.
The visit includes trips to Beamish Museum, Whitby and the North York Moors, as well as the Darlington Education Village and South Park.
The schools involved will learn more about a variety of issues from other countries, including wildlife, sports, music and dance.
