A HISTORIC hall is inviting visitors to visit the land of make believe during the half-term break.
Historic Crook Hall, in Durham City, stages a fairy-tale week during the half-term holiday between Sunday, May 28, and June 4.
The event will include fairy-tale treasure hunts in the garden, with Little Red Riding Hood, The Big Bad Wolf and Snow White putting in appearances.
Visitors will be invited to leave a note of their desires by the Wishing Tree.
Maggie Bell, who lives in the hall, said: "We are delighted to have teamed up with the city's Clayport Library whose staff will be leading some of our story-telling sessions."
Visitors are invited to come dressed as a character from their favourite fairy story.
The events will run between 11am and 5pm. Entry will be £4.50 for adults, £4 for concessions and £14 for a family ticket.
