TWO plumbing students from north Durham have celebrated success in the regional heat of the British Plumbing Employers' Council (BPEC) Skills Competition.
Christopher Lonsdale, an apprentice studying at New College Durham, won first place in the Sheet Leadwork competition, while Luke Harrison, an NVQ level three apprentice studying at the college and training with Sunderland Housing Group won first place in the Pipework competition.
The pair will now go on to represent the region in the national final to be held in London in October.
