A home for the elderly has come alive with the sound of music - thanks to the efforts of local people.
With the help of generous shoppers, Stokesley Rotary Club has made life more melodic for residents of the town's newly-built Town Close extra-care home.
Over the past 25 years, the club, supported by big-hearted local people, has raised money for many charities and good causes.
And following its latest fundraising drive it has presented a £600 high-tech electronic piano to the residents of Town Close.
Under the guidance of committee chairman Alan Weighell, the Rotarians staged a tombola to raise cash. And following an ecumenical service in Town Close by local lay preacher Derek Frow - accompanied on the piano by Helen Weighell - club president Bob Blakey made the presentation to scheme co-ordinator Christine Foy.
