PUPILS at a Darlington school will be joined by their former school friends for a trip down memory lane.
St Augustine's Primary School will celebrate the 20th anniversary since it moved to its site in Beechwood Avenue on Friday.
Former pupils or anyone with connections to the school is invited to the open day. Pupils, staff and governors will be among those at the event.
The school hoped to erect a display of memorabilia.
Pupils will also interview visitors about their memories of St Augustine's. The school moved from Larchfield Street in 1986.
Headteacher Catherine Crawford said: "It promises to be a very special day and we certainly hope to see as many former pupils, members of staff and governors as possible coming along."
Councillor Chris McEwan, cabinet member for children's services, said: "The school has become a very popular feature in Beechwood Avenue over the past 20 years and I wish it every success with the open day."
People are invited to attend the open day from 10am to 11.30am or 1.30pm to 3.25pm.
