A CAMPAIGN for an additional secondary school to be built in a Teesside community will move forward this week.
Councillors Alex Cunningham and Ann Baxter, cabinet member and corporate director for young people at Stockton Borough Council, will be attending a meeting of Ingleby Barwick Parish Council tomorrow evening at St. Francis Church Hall, Barwick Way, at 7.15pm.
Local councillors are urging residents to attend to discuss the situation of secondary places in Ingleby Barwick.
Earlier this year, the parish council joined ward councillors in their campaign for an additional secondary school.
The councillors hope that parents will attend the meeting so they can put questions directly to the councillors about inadequate school transport, lack of a safe walking route along Leven Bank and the admissions policy operated by the council.
