Acting Inspector Ian Robson, of the community policing unit, said the meeting was for people in Blackhill, Bridgehill, Ebchester, Lead-gate and Medomsley, and others are planned for the future.
He said: "We hope people from Blackhill and surrounding areas will take this opportunity to air their views and express any concerns they may have about policing matters in their communities."
