The Sturridge Sport Durham Coast League: After recording their first win in three attempts last weekend, Peterlee are hoping for another good performance at Seaham Park this afternoon.
Before the start of the season they lost Stephen McCoy, Mark Lauderdale, Paul Griffiths and Jimmy Rooney, but secretary Roy Simpson remains optimistic.
"It was a big blow losing a quartet of players but we are not short on numbers and last Saturday's victory will have lifted confidence," said Simpson.
Peterlee expect to field a strong line-up while Seaham Park, runners-up last year, have all-rounder Alan Dick available. He cannot play every game, but his inclusion undoubtedly increases Seaham's hopes.
It is a long time since Boldon CA led the table but they defend a narrow lead at home to Washington.
"We had an excellent result last week and it is great to be in pole position," said secretary Gloria Bellerby
"These are early days but we are one of only two unbeaten sides which must say something about our team."
Her son, Ian, replaces Michael Towns, while Washington welcome the return of wicket-keepers Tom Fowle and Andrew Brown, but Peter Lyall cannot play.
Murton, who won two successive championships before conceding the crown to Castle Eden last year, visit their arch rivals who have so far managed just one win in three.
Even so, Castle Eden are unchanged and Murton will be at their strongest, including Joe Dodd, who has made an impression since moving in from Philadelphia.
Bill Quay were deposed as leaders last weekend and need a good result against out-of-sorts Ryhope, who were expected to be early challengers.
The Wearsiders, however, lost their two opening fixtures and could only draw last weekend, leaving them second from the basement.
They have Paul Howe coming in for Daniel Pearson, while Bill Quay are delighted to have professional Shaun Smith back following a one-week absence.
It was expected that Easington would sorely miss all-rounder David Kennedy, who joined Ryhope, but they have more than held their own.
Dane Wilson is unavailable so Stuart Wilson lines up and a further change sees Lawrence Jones taking over from Ben Francis.
Dawson could well retain 15-year-old Anthony Watson, who is included in the Durham County U15 squad playing at Durham School next Wednesday.
