A child sex attacker who targeted three girls while on a treatment programme has been jailed indefinitely.
During a campaign of abuse, William Seymour, 44, raped an 11-year-old, had sex with a 15-year-old and indecently assaulted a 12-year-old.
Newcastle Crown Court was told that when the attacks started, Seymour was part-way through a sex offender treatment programme imposed as part of a probation order in 1999, after he indecently assaulted another young girl.
Seymour, of Monkton Hall, Jarrow, admitted nine charges including rape, sexual activity with a child, sexual assault on a child and indecent assault.
