A KERBSIDE recycling scheme has been launched for Middlesbrough residents at the Riverside Stadium.
The initiative will involve the collection of newspapers and magazines, glass bottles and jars, food and drinks cans, and textiles from about 55,000 homes.
Councillor Bob Kerr, the council's executive member for environment, said: "The council is trying to improve its recycling. To do this, we need to work closely with our partners and the residents themselves."
