YOUNG people have an opportunity to join park rangers on a bird survey.
The Junior Bird Count will be on Monday, May 29, from 10am to noon, at the Billingham Beck Valley Country Park.
Park rangers will show youngsters how the birds living in the park survive, and teach them about the many different species native to the area.
The event is free and open to youngsters of all ages with no experience or equipment necessary. However, all children must be accompanied by an adult.
