A MOTHER and daughter photography team have swept the boards at an awards presentation.
Camera A Photography, from Darlington, received nine awards at the Master Photographers Association (MPA) Northern Area awards.
Jane Simmons, 24, was named Licentiate Portrait Photographer of the Year - one of the youngest to do so.
She picked up two of the three awards in the section and an Award for Excellence in wedding photography.
Camera A's managing director, Ann Simmons, Jane's mother, said: "Jane has only recently become a member of the MPA and already she has fulfilled what is only some of her potential."
Mrs Simmons won four Awards of Excellence in the senior associate category.
The company's third photographer, David Long, also picked up awards for photography involving under-fives and in black and white.
The winning photographs will be displayed at the Discovery Museum, in Newcastle, from June 1.
