A RUNNER from Croft has gone the extra mile to raise money for a North-East charity.
Andrew Dobson completed the 26.2 miles of the London Marathon recently, raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support. He joined a Macmillan team of more than 700 runners, who raised £950,000.
Mr Dobson said: "Knowing all the money I raised will help Macmillan Cancer Support improve the lives of people affected by cancer spurred me on."
