A FORMER Thirsk student is heading home to show off clothes she has designed for Marks and Spencer.
Former Thirsk School pupil Victoria Smith is an embroidery graduate who designs for the high street company.
The Knayton artist is showing embroidered dresses, greetings cards and canvas work.
She is one of several artists taking part in a free exhibition at Rural Arts, in Westgate, Thirsk. Some of the items on show will be for sale.
Also showing is Joanna Coupland, of York, who makes papier mache birds and jewellery.
The show will take place from 6pm to 8pm on Friday, May 26, and 10am to 4pm on Saturday, May 27.
