A Northallerton pub is continuing its work to support local and international charities.
Staff at The Standard, in Northallerton High Street, will have £1,200 to give away to local good causes on May 30.
A total of £300 will be given to Workcrafts and Northdale Horticulture, and the rest will be divided between two other charities yet to be chosen.
England darts champion Martin Adams will be the guest for the night and will play darts against up to 20 people.
Competitions are being held every Tuesday and Saturday to determine who will get to challenge Mr Adams, and entrants will have to pay £1, which will go to the charity fund.
Landlord Paul Greig is already thinking about how to raise money over the next year for other causes and hopes to get the fundraising off to a flying start with an auction on the same night.
He said: "We have had a guitar signed by Sting donated to us by Viking Sound and Leisure for our auction on the Tuesday night, and hopefully it will attract a lot of interest and raise a lot of money to start next years charity event off."
Meanwhile, staff are still collecting football shirts for prisoners in Ethiopia. More than 70 shirts have been collected so far through the initiative, with the Friends of Prison Fellowship in Ethiopia.
