NORTHERN League champions Newcastle Blue Star have put striker David Southern on the transfer list, writes Ray Simpson.
Southern was the second top scorer in the First Division with 30 goals in the season just ended, after he moved from Dunston last summer.
However, he submitted a transfer request after manager Tony Lee departed earlier in the week, and it has been granted by the committee.
West Allotment Celtic are looking for a new manager following the departure of Brian Latty.
Guisborough, who finished second bottom of the Second Division, have been told that they are safe from relegation.
Guisborough feared that if Wearside League Stokesley passed a ground inspection and finished in the top two then their neighbours would replace them, but the FA has told the ANL that Stokesley have nothing to appeal against.
However, Peterlee, who finished bottom of Division Two, will be relegated to the Northern Alliance.
