AN animal charity is searching for a new home for this greyhound, called Jack.
Jack was picked up as a stray in the Durham area and was taken in by the National Animal Sanctuaries Support League (NASSL), near Darlington.
The fawn dog is ten months old.
Pauline Wilson, of NASSL, said: "He is a really nice dog, he is fine with cats and other dogs and is desperate for a nice home.
"He would be a good second dog and a good companion.
"We would like somebody who is home most of the day, because he needs a fair bit of attention. Perhaps somebody who has had a greyhound before would like to take him in.
"They are a very responsive and intelligent breed, but also very laid back."
Anyone who would like to offer Jack a home is asked to contact Mrs Wilson on 07748 268822 or (01325) 321855.
