JOBSEEKERS will benefit from the opening of two one-stop advice centres.
A Jobcentre Plus office will open in St Cuthbert's Road, Peterlee, on Friday, and on Friday, May 19, a similar service will be introduced at Barnfield Road, Spennymoor.
Jobcentre Plus offices have both benefit services and job vacancy records under one roof.
Dave Peebles, Jobcentre Plus Durham district manager, said: "It is about ensuring people of working age get support from a personal advisor to access jobs and job search support, as well as making sure they are getting all the benefits they are entitled to in pleasant modern surroundings."
