A CHARITY shop is marking a decade of trading in Spennymoor.
St Cuthbert's Hospice last week celebrated ten years in the town centre by thanking all volunteers, customers and the community that have supported the shop and helped it reach the milestone.
The charity has six shops to help fund the work of the hospice, which provides free specialist palliative care for people across County Durham.
A ten-bed inpatient unit is also being developed to complement the successful existing day care hospice, in Durham City.
To volunteer for work at any hospice shop, or for details of the charity and its work, call 0191-386 1170.
Donations of good quality items of bric-a-brac are also needed.
