DURHAM Business Club has made two appointments to its board of directors.
DR ALAN GREGGAINS, of E-Cat Partners, and TOM TALBOT, of Talbot Associates, join the board as non-executive directors.
Dr Greggains, leads the sales and marketing team at web design company E-Cat Partners, in Sunderland. With more than 20 years experience in the IT industry, he advises clients on technical issues.
Mr Talbot is managing director of his company, which specializes in strategic and human resource (HR) management.
He has a background in general management, and accreditation as a marketing specialist. He is also a visiting lecturer in HR at Sunderland University Business School.
He said: "I'm very pleased to have been given the opportunity to join the board of directors.
"I know that the present directors have built the foundation for the success of the club, and I look forward to bringing my skills and experience of developing businesses to the role and contributing to the continued growth of the club in the future."
Durham Business Club is a business membership and training organisation established 25 years ago to help small and medium-sized enterprises support each other and expand their network of contacts. The board of directors is made up of three full-time executive directors and nine non-executives drawn from the local business community.
