MORE than 200 people entered a charity duck race on Saturday.
The event, in Hutton Rudby, raised £1,000 for Cleveland Search and Rescue.
Prizes were handed out for the duck that completed the 1.5-mile course down the River Leven in the fastest time, and the best dressed duck.
Wayne Stephenson, one of the organisers of the event, said it had been a huge success.
"People made a lot of effort dressing up their ducks," he said. "One lad spent five hours doing his."
He also thanked a number of local organisations that donated funds.
