THIRTY-SEVEN people took part in an annual sponsored walk on Saturday.
The Claire Cook Memorial Walk raises funds for MandDet (Midwifery and Diabetes Educational Trust) and CHUF (Children's Heart Unit Fund at the Freeman Hospital, in Newcastle).
The walkers, aged four to 73, completed six-mile and 11-mile routes starting from Knayton Village Hall, near Thirsk, North Yorkshire.
They included Ayleigh Heslop, 18, who had a heart valve replaced when she was six.
