GIANT BALL: Leven Crafts would like to thank all those who offered help with their recent knitting project - the giant ball of knitting. The project produced 180 knitted patchwork throws and their sale raised £834, which has been donated to Help the Aged.
FROG RACING: A night of frog racing raised about £500 for the charity fund of Guisborough and Great Ayton Rotary Club. Almost 100 Rotarians and guests attended the evening where dozens of club members and their guests took it in turn to jerk the plywood cut-out frogs along strings the length of a school hall.
EQUINOX DANCE: Tickets for Cleveland Theatre School's next performance go on sale this weekend.
