PEOPLE can help fight skin disease by taking part in a charity walk.
More than 250 people have signed up for the Newcastle Walk for Skin, around Beamish Open Air Museum, near Stanley, County Durham, on Sunday, May 21.
The walk has been organised by the British Skin Foundation.
Su Ganderton, of the charity, said: "We've had a great response from people in Newcastle and surrounding areas.
"People often feel rejected by society due to the highly visible or disfiguring nature of their disease, and the fact they are being so publicly supported is absolutely fantastic."
