A MANAGER at a Teesside call centre has receive a top honour at an industry awards ceremony.
Andy Petford, 39, who is training officer at Wilton-based OC5, won the Call Centre Support Manager of the Year award at the Call Centre Management Association dinner, held in London's West End.
He beat off the challenge of hundreds of people carrying out a variety of roles across the UK.
Mr Petford, of Broxa Close, Redcar, said: "I am absolutely delighted and thrilled to have won this prestigious award. It's a great honour for me personally, but also for my colleagues at OC5 who work extremely hard on behalf of our customers."
It is the third time the company has won the award, also winning in 2003 and 2004.
OC5 is a call centre with 160 employees dealing with customers of the UK's largest gas supplier, British Gas.
