AN Indian restaurant that reached the final three in last year's Flavours of Hambleton Awards is holding a charity evening to benefit a local hospital.
Tomorrow, Aroma Indian Restaurant, in Zetland Street, Northallerton, will be preparing a set three-course meal for the event, costing £15.95.
All proceeds will go to the Friends of the Friarage Hospital. Last year, the family-run business raised money for its special baby unit.
Owner Nijamul Hoque, along with brother and manager Samsul, want to raise as much money as possible for the cause and feel they should give something back to the community, as the restaurant was doing so well.
Mr Hoque said: "We are not just there to take the money. We are there for the long-term."
The two-hour sittings take place at 1pm and 7pm.
