POLICE are appealing for information after a driver left the scene of a car crash in Darlington.
A man was taken to Darlington Memorial Hospital following the incident, in Hollyhurst Road on Thursday, at about 11.30pm.
The collision took place at the junction of Craig Street and involved a Mini, driven by a woman from Darlington, and an Isuzu Trooper, whose driver comes from Houghton-le-Spring.
Following the collision, the driver of the Isuzu left the scene.
A male passenger in the Mini was taken to hospital with injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening.
The Isuzu Trooper is being inspected by police forensic scientists.
