PUPILS honed their interview skills yesterday when they were visited by prominent Darlington employers.
Hurworth School Maths and Computing College held mock interviews for year ten students to help students prepare for the real thing.
All the students gained valuable tips about dress, conduct and deportment.
The event was organised by Durham Education Business Partnership.
Interviewers included the editor of The Northern Echo, Peter Barron, as well as representatives from Durham Police, the NHS, Darlington College of Technology and the armed forces.
Bill Dale, head of careers at the school, said: "The students have had a fabulous day and thought it was a really worthwhile exercise and would help them in the future."
