CLIENTS at a day centre have seen their wishes come true, thanks to a Peterlee company.
Bracken Hill Woodwork Centre, for people with learning disabilities, is to open its doors to let the public see the transformation at its Peterlee premises.
Caterpillar, which has a manufacturing unit in east Durham, asked staff and those attending the centre to make a wish list of things they would like to see done with their building.
The company then set about refurbishing the premises, providing lighting, heating and flooring.
In addition, it supplied equipment, including PCs and desks, in a newly-decorated conference room.
Caterpillar also provided the centre with a mobile trailer, to transport items made in the woodwork centre.
To thank Caterpillar, the centre is holding an open day on Friday.
