PUPILS and pups went for a walk in the country this week to raise money for an animal rescue centre.
Youngsters from Mowbray School, in Bedale, North Yorkshire, took nine border collies on a circular route from Richmond to Easby Abbey and back.
The dogs were from the Border Collie Rescue Society, in Richmond. Sponsorship money collected by the children will go to the centre.
The school aims to raise at least £200. Pupils also made and sold Mother's Day cards for the charity.
