A MAN and a woman have been arrested in connection with an alleged attack on two teenagers in Darlington town centre earlier this week.
The incident, involving a 15-year-old girl from West Auckland, and her 14-year-old boyfriend from Gainford, is said to have happened behind Wilkinson's store in East Street at about 4pm on Tuesday.
The boy is reported to have been punched in the face while the girl had her earrings taken.
Inspector Bill Dutton, of Darlington police, said a man and a woman, both from Darlington, had been arrested and bailed until May 3.
